Anyone notice the better sound in the new iMacs. Are there new speakers in there?
I haven't noticed the internal speakers being better because I don't use them, but has the sound card been changed? It sure seems to have better sound then the Early 2008 Core 2 Duo model I had before.

I was just fooling around with GarageBand, and whipped up these 4 songs. 2 of them I've used in games I've created.
Battle (http://www.worldwizard.net/songs/Battle.mp3)
Battle 2 (http://www.worldwizard.net/songs/Battle_2.mp3)
Polyphonizer (http://www.worldwizard.net/songs/Polyphonizer.mp3)
Testing (http://www.worldwizard.net/songs/Testing.mp3)
Of the 4, Polyphonizer is my favorite. It got its name from the fact that it relies on mass polyphony to keep listeners' interest.

But that is the problem. Instant messaging has been on phones for over two years. Why would they want to sell a phone on instant messaging if everybody pretty much already has a phone with IM already? There's no reason to buy it if they're going to advertise a feature people already have it on their phones.
And how exactly is IM faster than texting?
Yes, especially on the tiny keypad on a phone? At best, the iPhone might have a slid-out keypad, which won't make IM-ing any faster than texting.

LOL. Yeah that proves it's him. I'm CIA, I know these things.
You don't believe me? He sent that to my eBay and now the auction is cancelled like he just said he was going to do. Sucks but I dont think that other guy is going to get his money back. Not like we are going to find out either.

LOL! These white iphone threads are hilarious. Only mindless Apple drones would spend so much time debating the "color" of a product. :D
Yea, sure. If they had a different Hemroid based colored phone you'd be all over it.

On my personal work laptop, which luckily I really do not need much more than ARD and Windows 7:
Do you have the original for the background? I really would like to have it if possible.
Thanks

This is great. I recall a year ago that a few of us were at a friends house playing Tecmo Bowl. Another friend, who isn't a gamer and stuck in books, looked up and said this is funny. You guys have a Wii, PS3, Xbox 360, HDTV, 7.1 surround sound and you're having a blast playing a 20 year old game that looks like crap.
Kinda like this Atari thing. Powerful mobile phone that can do Unreal engine based games, yet people are thrilled for Atari games. Pretty funny and cool. Fun is fun right?

no, it's CSS3 download the nightly then visit this site. http://www.css3.info/preview/resize.html
Thanks for the link. It does look like WebKit's doing it with the CSS property, so that's good. Interestingly, that page is a good example of how easy it is to do strange, bad things to the scrollbars if you resize it to certain shapes. Developers will have to remember to set mins and maxes for all sorts of elements now if they want to allow resizing. The phrase "can of worms" comes to mind. Oh well.

All four of those photos are focused on the background instead of on the iPod. Would you please re-do making sure you are in focus?
Not much point. Try HERE (http://www.appleinsider.com/article.php?id=2195) instead...

I actually voted poor.
Not because I disliked either the iPhone, which I'm definitively am going to get, or the Apple TV, which I might get, but because of the things not mentioned:
- The new AirPort Extreme really exites me and should have been mentioned
- I was hoping for more Leopard info, and - maybe too far fetched, but still - a release date

How? Unless the power outages were each 6 hours long, there is no way. However, since it's full blown snow storms up north, I guess those must be common, just like down here in Honduras. Albeit for entire different reasons:D:p:eek:
I forgot to mention, if anyone has a PS3, download the Folding client to it! It works towards keeping our pace!
well the 2684s take much longer for me to complete. on top of that, i wasn't home when the power outages hit, so it took awhile to get everything back up and running. and then another power outage...
yeah i have my ps3 folding when i'm not using it.
I usually just use my PS3 guess I should ramp it up then? Running full throttle on MBP i7 for a while! Using laptop on my lap.... the pain it burns! Ah my legs on fire!
yeah might as well fold with your ps3 when you aren't using it. yeah i wouldn't use that mbp on your lap
I wonder how many team members don't even know about the passkey/bonus system? Could we up output by educating them about that, as well as client configuration?
hey not a bad idea. just start a new thread about it
